​As a Clinical supervisor and therapist, Monique leads a team of skilled and supportive therapists who will help you safely navigate your wellness journey. Her clinical experience also includes social work with foster youth and adoptive families. Beyond leading a team of dedicated therapists, you’ll find Monique teaching Psychology & Child Development students at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Monique received her bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and went onto pursue a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Santa Barbara.

In her free time Monique, enjoys hiking Avila Ridge & Pismo preserve and gardening, along with practicing yoga and surfing on the Central Coast.

Monique holds a deep respect and love for nature and enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husband, CJ, son, Mateo, and their two Aussies, Ginger and Maverick. Experiencing new adventures with her family & friends is important to Monique along with travel, cooking, and exercising creativity.

Cassidy Urbany, AMFT
Cassidy is an Associate marriage and family therapist who supports clients in building a more grounded, authentic connection with themselves.
Her approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in curiosity, compassion, and respect for each client’s strengths and values.
She integrates modalities such as Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic awareness, CBT, and psychodynamic therapy to meet the unique needs of each individual.
Cassidy has experience working with trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, low self-worth, and patterns of perfectionism and people-pleasing. Clients appreciate her calm, attuned presence and the safe, supportive environment she fosters for meaningful growth and healing.

Lindsey Melendrez, APCC

Lindsey has called San Luis Obispo home for over 15 years and is honored to offer healing spaces here on the Central Coast. She is passionate about supporting individuals and couples through life’s joys and challenges, creating grounding environments for connection and growth.
Lindsey holds a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Studies from Cal Poly SLO, and a master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Concordia University, in Irvine. Her clinical experience includes working with college students, young professionals, parents (including those raising children with disabilities), and couples. She has also served as a cultural consultant for teams and organizations.
Her areas of focus include anxiety, depression, trauma, relational conflict, perinatal and postpartum mental health, and intercultural or interracial relationships. Lindsey’s approach is trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and strength-based. She is trained in Gottman Method Couples therapy (Levels 1 & 2) and integrates evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
Outside the therapy room, Lindsey enjoys cooking, gardening, reading, spending time in nature with family and friends. She feels deeply grateful to live and work in such a vibrant, connected community like Central Coast.
